Did you know?

The younger the father when a baby is born, the less likely they are to stay involved.

Generations Ahead works directly with young fathers to encourage their continued involvement with their child, provide parenting education to enhance their comfort as dads, and support lasting healthy relationships with adult male mentors.

In the U.S., only 40% of teen moms graduate from high school.

With support from Generations Ahead mentors, and partnerships with education program, last year six of our teen moms graduated from high school, and all plan to pursue college within the next year.

Children born to teen parents are 2x more likely to experience abuse or neglect.

Generations Ahead provides counseling, mentoring, parent education and support groups to empower young parents to develop strong and healthy attachments to their babies. Early identification and intervention effectively reduces child abuse with our clients.
